These terms govern your use of mobile applications published by LAN Media Limited (“LAN Media”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and any other apps that link to this page. LAN Media Limited is registered in Scotland under company number SC775540.

Licence
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the rules of the relevant app store (for example the Apple App Store).
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code from, or create derivative works based on our apps, except to the extent permitted by applicable law or with our prior written permission.
Your content and device data
You retain ownership of your photos, manual entries and other content you provide. Our apps may request access to your photo library or related metadata (such as location information embedded in photos) so features can work, for example, some app features may use on-device analysis of photo GPS metadata to support maps, stats or related outputs.
You are responsible for the content you choose to process in the app, and you must have the right to use it. Do not use the apps to process content you are not entitled to use.
Acceptable use
You must use the apps lawfully. You must not misuse them, attempt to interfere with their operation or security, attempt unauthorised access to systems or data, or use them in a way that harms us, other users or third parties.
App features and availability
We aim to keep apps useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device or OS version. We may update, change or withdraw features, or stop providing an app, where reasonably necessary.
Travel maps, country detection, stats, timelines and achievements are provided for personal interest. They depend on the quality of metadata in your photos and any information you enter manually, and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Purchases and subscriptions
If an app offers paid features, in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment is handled by the relevant app store under that store’s terms. Refunds are subject to the store’s policies unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
Intellectual property
We or our licensors own the intellectual property in the apps, including software, design, branding and original content we provide. These terms do not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to you.
Third-party services
Apps may rely on device platforms, app stores and other third-party services. Those parties have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from incomplete photo metadata, inaccurate maps or stats, device or OS limitations, app store outages, or your misuse of an app. Our total liability arising from your use of an app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for that app or related in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of an app after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.
Termination
You may stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the app.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
