LAN Media Limited (“LAN Media”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the controller of personal information described in this policy for the consumer mobile apps we publish. We are registered in Scotland under company number SC775540.

Information our apps process
Depending on the app and the permissions you grant, we may process:
- Photo library items and embedded metadata (such as GPS coordinates, timestamps and related EXIF data), where you allow access so features can work.
- Information you enter yourself within the app.
- App preferences and locally stored maps, stats, timelines, progress or similar outputs generated on your device.
- Technical information needed for support if you contact us (for example your name, email address and the content of your message).
- Limited diagnostics that the operating system or app store may collect under their own practices.
On-device processing
Some app features are designed so core analysis happens on your device. Where you grant permissions such as photo access, the app may read relevant metadata from content on your device so features can work as intended.
Your underlying content and related metadata are not uploaded to LAN Media servers for that on-device analysis unless a feature you choose to use requires otherwise. If that changes for a specific feature, we will explain it in the app and update this policy.
How we use information
- To provide app features you request.
- To remember preferences and progress stored on your device.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To meet legal obligations where applicable.
Lawful bases
Where UK data protection law applies, we typically rely on: performance of a contract or steps you request before a contract (providing the app features you use); legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our apps in a proportionate way; and, where required, consent (for example for optional permissions or non-essential processing).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your photo library with advertisers.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, or to professional advisers under confidentiality, or to service providers who process limited information on our behalf (for example email or hosting used when you contact us), under suitable contractual safeguards.
App stores and device platforms (such as Apple) may process information under their own terms when you download, update or pay for an app.
Retention
On-device app data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app, subject to any backups you make yourself. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and meet legal or accounting requirements.
International transfers
If you contact us by email or through our website, limited information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and safeguards required by UK data protection law.
Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal information, object to processing, request portability and withdraw consent. These rights can depend on the circumstances and applicable exemptions.
Because much of our app processing may stay on your device, the most direct controls are usually the permissions and delete options on your phone, including uninstalling the app.

Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected here before they apply to new processing where reasonably practicable.
